PRIVACY
Your journey stays yours
NAMAA was made to be a quiet, private place. Nothing you write is published, sold or used to profile you.
What stays on your device
- Your reflections, duas, bookmarks, saved ayahs and reading progress.
- Your chosen garden, appearance, reminder settings and sound preference.
- Your streaks and weekly letter, which are built from the same on-device records.
These live in your browser's own storage. Clearing your browser data, or choosing “Delete all data” in Your space, removes them completely. We cannot read or recover them.
What leaves your device
- Quran content. Verses, translations and recitations are requested from a public Quran service as you read. The request carries only the surah or verse you opened.
- Weather and place. If you allow location, your approximate coordinates are used to pick the scene and calculate prayer times. Coordinates are kept on your device and only sent to fetch current weather.
- Suggestions you send. If you use the suggestion box on the Contact page, the message and optional email you type are stored so we can read and reply. Nothing else is attached.
No accounts, no tracking
There is no sign-up, no advertising, and no analytics profile of you. Prayer reminders are off until you turn them on, and they are shown by your own device — no notification passes through us.
Children and families
NAMAA is suitable for all ages. Because there is no account and no personal profile, nothing about a child is collected.
Your choices
- Export everything as a file from Your space at any time.
- Delete everything from Your space at any time.
- Refuse location: prayer times fall back to a chosen city, and everything else keeps working.
